You're very organised! The other day you were mentioning forgetting to put the rice on to cook....my usual mis-timing thing is to have the baked french fries still in the oven and looking half-baked as we all sit down to eat...and then they're ready by the END of the meal.
As far as other ways to organise (I've changed from American spellings!) meals, I sometimes do so around the starch i.e. have either potatoes, rice, noodles/pasta or bread at every meal and then organise something to go with them.....beef, fish, chicken, pork, eggs, ostrich 'mince', lamb etc. Veggies are at every meal--mostly steamed or a salad...and the more colourful, the better. There are no side dishes per se. And some type of fruit for 'dessert' eg fresh fruit, canned fruit, fruit pie/cobbler/crisp, fruity yogurt, frozen fruit yogurt etc. OR have fruit smoothies WITH the meal. My husband likes to have a "Solero" as often as possible, but of course it's cheaper if we make our own (frozen fruit lollies/ices).
As another blogger said, comments are like payment, its acknowledging the writer's effort. I'd love to hear your thoughts, ideas and responses... best done via a comment!
Good idea and so nice to hear your voice!

I have a perhaps sick love for organizational systems. They make me happy and satisfied. This is a great one. Thanks for sharing.
